
Tara Nolan
Freestyle, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Acro-gymnastics teacher.
Tara began performing at the tender age of 2 in various dance schools in North Wales and Liverpool. Studying Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Freestyle. This gave her the opportunity to take her ISTD and RAD dance exams and perform in many competitions, shows and pantomimes. Tara started performing professionally at the very young age of 4 performing alongside Danny la rue and Linda Nolan. On numerous occasions Tara won the Welsh National Eisteddfod in Freestyle Dance and appeared on S4C doing so. At the age of 12 Tara was selected to become a Junior Associate at “The Urdang Dance Academy” in London. For 4 years she travelled up to London once a month to train with some of London’s top directors and choreographers. During this time Tara also performed in numerous professional pantomimes as a juvenile dancer working for Qdos and UK Productions. At the age of 16 Tara was awarded a full scholarship to attend one of London’s prestigious performing arts colleges “Millennium Performing Arts” under the direction of Donald McLennan, Ikky Maas and Jackie Mitchell. After training for 3 years Tara graduated with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre and Dance and during her time at Millennium obtained her ISTD and RAD teaching qualifications.
Theatre Credits
Performing at Riverside Studios Theatre London, Baker Street Theatre London, St.Albans Theatre, Central Drama Theatre London, Millennium Theatre London, St. Helens Theatre Liverpool and the Pavilion Theatre Rhyl to name a few in various different performances. Professional performance experience whilst studying at Millennium performing arts includes shows of Chicago, Oklahoma, Honk, Joseph and his Technicolor Dream Coat, Kes, The Sound of Music, Barnum and Guys and Dolls. After graduating Tara travelled the world on prestigious cruise liners and performed and assisted with choreography on the Ocean Majesty cruise ship with Sapphire Entertainment Company. Tara then went on to perform on the P&O Oriana cruise ship with Headliners Theatre Company.
Television Credits
Appeared on ‘S4C’ Welsh Television as a winner of the National Eisteddfod; freestyle dance winner. Appeared on ITV and BBC; featured dancer.
Tara wants to give back her Knowledge of the professional industry and her skills as a professional dancer, singer, choreographer and fitness instructor and has returned back to her hometown where her career began to teach the young stars of today.
